Keagen sat in his chair, head leaned back and legs crossed in the empty conference room of Nyx Headquarters. Damn he was tired. He had stayed up the entire night before just tossing and turning in bed, just like every other night (unless he had company, that is. But I suppose that was a different type of tossing and turning.). He just didn't have the slightest idea as to why he couldn't sleep. It's not like he had any more personal problems than usual lately. Just the frustration of trying to keep his head straight now that he was a member of the Nyx Council.
His momma had been proud of him, that's for sure, and the rest of his family, too, but Keagen wasn't that thrilled about it. He knew about the backstabbing that went on here-- how most just craved that leadership position. It didn't surprise him that some were most likely willing to kill for it. After all, everyone killed now a' days. Except him, that is.
Every time he heard an order for someone to be taken out and shot point blank he would wince. Damn him and his naturally good intentions. He just... didn't like the thrill of murder. What was the thrill of it all anyways? The thought that you had ended someone and most likely several other lives? The feeling that you had just changed some other person's life in a horrible way by ending another? Maybe Keagen was just too weird to pick up the positive feelings in that, or maybe he just wasn't fucked in the head like everyone else.
'Nice thrill', he thought to himself sarcastic and disgusted with the thought of any thrill like that.
Eventually Keagen sits in the quiet long enough to actually fall asleep, letting his eyes fall shut slowly. He dreams briefly, but he jolts awake after ten minutes or so, wiping the drool from the corners of his mouth and sitting up straight. He sighs and bends forward, placing his elbows on his knees and his face on the palms of his hand. He just sits there like that, motionless, and apathetic as to whether or not anyone is watching him. He's too consumed in his own thoughts to be able to notice.
Raising his head up, he looks through his fingers at the wall a naturally annoyed look on his face, before standing up, stretching his great height by raising his arms far above his head before letting his arms fall back down to his sides, and stuffing his hands in his pockets. Keagen actually enjoyed hiding away in here-- in the quiet some times. It was a little known fact, but one of Keagen's favorite hobbies was thinking. And to think he required silence, which is what he usually got when he hid away in the conference room for an hour, or maybe even two.
'I pity the dumbass that bothers me.', he thought a second too early, cause just as the thought filled his head he heard the door creak open. "God damn it.", he muttered, loudly enough to be heard by whoever just walked in. Keagen turned his head towards the open door. 'Dumbass.', he thinks automatically annoyed.

Sound was what made the world go round. At least, that's what Ichirou firmly believed. The steady clicking of the heels of his boots against the concrete floor was all the sound that was provided for the man tonight. His little baby boy Ry was asleep because damn it was late in the night already. He missed the sound, the organized chaos, when there was still the motley group of five (and sometimes a few more). Of course, Ichirou was still hell bent on finding those missing pieces of his family unit.
For some strange reason or another, Leader-sama wasn't feeling so chill tonight. Normally he would've rocked out on his guitar for a few hours, had something to eat, rocked out some more, overlooked what needed to be overlooked and went to bed at some ungodly hour. Day after day, it was all relaxed, at least for him. It was a rather unfortunate event; how he came to take over Nyx. After all, it really was an accident.
Sort of.
Okay, okay, it might not have been too much of an accident. That creep had taken to his liberty of getting way, way too close to his baby boy and made the mistake of grabbing his hair. Ry had began to cry, of course, and the next thing anybody knew, that ex-Nyx-leader had his skull so bashed in his brain was coming from his eye sockets. True story. Ichirou didn't know the man was a leader of any sort, but one thing lead to another and how he was here; the alpha dog. That meant taking over everything, and he meant everything. All the work and members and just freaking everything. But after a few people cried and a few people died, all was smooth sailing once again.

The conference room wasn't so far away, so he decided that it might as well be his destination for now. Nobody would be there this late, and it hadn't really been in use lately. Ichirou was obviously a little more lax then the last leader. Meh, his underlings had to deal with it.
These halls were so dim and gloomy; no wonder everybody around here was so up tight. Jesus, some of the council member's asses were so up tight they might as well have been vacuum sealed. He had become acquainted with all of them rather early on. But anyways, he was currently focused on how the walls and floors and absolutely everything in this place was made of concrete. Though Ichirou wasn't a big fan of colour himself, he was getting a bit more then tired of the grey scenery. He might get this fixed. Maybe... Probably not.
The heavy metal door creaked a bit as he pushed it open with his shoulder, using his elbow to turn the knob just enough. He wasn't expecting anybody to be in there, and certainly wasn't expecting the "God damn it." muttered rather loudly. The edge to the voice grated on his already frayed nerves, and he couldn't help but growl a bit under his own breath. With that, he shoved the door open a little too violently with his broad shoulder.
BANG
Damn, he needed to relieve some stress. Preferably before the heads went rolling.
The spacious room was empty save for the table in the middle with its various chairs and a single person. The man almost rolled his eyes, but opted to puff out his chest a bit and cross his arms instead. His mismatched eyes were hidden behind his trademark sunglasses that he wore in the already-dark interior of Nyx's home base. The very last thing he needed was somebody being distracted by his eyes while he was saying something, even if it was only mildly important. Having heterochromia wasn't as awesome as many believed, thank you very much.
"Good morning to you too." Ichirou said rather sharply in reply to the man's earlier remark. He stood between Keagen and the door, looking slightly down on the younger man. He had met Keagen before; the boy was on the council before he even took on the role of top dog. Ichirou didn't know what to expect from him yet, rebellion or complete obedience. Just watch and wait.
Watch and wait.
