BUILD Quite tall - stands at six foot zero inches. As for his body, he isn't exactly muscular; he would be more classed as 'slender' or 'lean'.

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES Not many. Other than the snakebites, pale skin and the shaggy black hair, there isn't much that seperates him from others. Trust me, you will remember him solely based on his personality. You will always remember him.
He mostly wears dark clothes due to the fact that he cannot stand bright colours (and it helps to blend in with the darkness) and doesn't like attracting too much attention in a crowd. Mainly wears average clothes - always t-shirts and dark-coloured jeans. He wears hooded jackets during both the hot and the cold seasons, as hoods come in useful when wanting to hide your face. No jewellry is worn other than a chain with a cross hanging around his neck - pure sarcasm and mocking as he is the least religious person you will ever meet.

THE OTHER SIDE A SCREAM THAT'S LOUD ENOUGH TO WAKE THE DEAD![/center][/font]

LIKES blood, manipulating people, alcohol, pain, making others suffer, winter (cold weather), darkness, solitude, biting, learning, secluded places, rodents.
DISLIKES people who talk too much, bright lights, hot weather, television, obnoxious people, know-it-alls, sweet food, loud noises. nearly everything.
GOALS to obliterate all of the 'competition' (i.e. the other council members), to take over the place as Nyx leader, to find his damned brother, to complete his 'hitlist' (i.e. anyone who's ever pissed him off - who he now wants to kill), to eradicate the zombies.
FEARS
LOVE/BECOMING ATTACHED. Ash physically fears becoming emotionally attached to anyone - he sees it as a weakness. 'When you love someone, their life becomes entwined with yours. When they hurt, you hurt. You are no longer living for yourself, but for them too.' He is terrified of gaining such a weakness, hence his choosing to never stick around people long. Chances are, if he did end up falling for someone, he would panic and try to kill them.

BEING MANIPULATED. Although he constantly does it to others, the idea of the tables being turned on him definitely gives Ash a queasy feeling in his stomach. Not that he'd ever admit this, though.

PEOPLE KNOWING TOO MUCH. Ash hates people knowing things about him. This stems from the fear of being manipulated, as he knows from personal experience that knowing information about the person you are trying to control just makes it so much easier. Ash prefers people to know absolutely nothing about him, and it scares him when people know more than they should.
OVERALL PERSONALITY

To sum Ashley up in just a few words: scheming, manipulative, violent, sadistic lowlife. He is one of those people that you just don't want to meet. He sees himself as 'above' everyone else - no one is good enough; no one meets his standards. Murdering is not a problem to him - hell, he'll happily slice and dice anyone who gets in his way. A 'short' temper would be an understatement.. Pissing him off is extremely easy. So much as looking at him is likely to set him off on a bad day - and once he had lost his temper, he will most likely try to kill you. Or maim you, perhaps. But that's on a good day.

He doesn't trust, he doesn't love and he is afraid of emotional attachments. Yes, he will sleep around, but no, you're not likely to ever see him again after that. If someone begins to stick around for too long, he will panic and probably try to kill them - because the idea of getting emotionally attached to people scares him.

Ash is manipulative, and a good 'actor'. He watches, observes, figures people out, and then strives to destroy them. Or, at least, get the desired reaction from them. Once he knows how people act in different situations, he can change the situation to get the desired reaction. Acting is a necessary skill, as faking kindness is necessary to gain trust. And although he never trusts anyone himself, gaining the trust of others is very, very useful.

'Lowlife' would be a good term to descrive him. Nothing is too low for him - he'll do anything to reach a desired goal. 'Dignity' he views as something which 'holds people back' - and he honestly doesn't give a fuck how people view him. He doesn't take crap from anyone.

Although psychotic and extremely short-tempered, he does have a good brain up there - he just uses it for all of the bad reasons. Instead of using his intellect to come up with the cure for cancer, he uses it to his own advantage only - to twist the people around him in order to get what he wants. He feels no guilt.

He has killed countless, raped many, tortured hundreds and attacked thousands - and he doesn't plan on stopping any time soon.

In short: HE IS THE MEANEST, MOST SPITEFULL ASSHOLE YOU WILL EVER ENCOUNTER.

HISTORY

Think businessman. Think one, rich businessman who has just had an argument with his wife of many, many years and has just made the decision to go out drinking for the first time in many, many years. Think rich businessman who is drunk and seduced by a cheap whore - and cheats on his wife for the first time in his life. The next morning, he realises his mistake and scarpers, never intending to mention nor think of this incident ever again.

Think pregnant whore.

Although completely lacking in morals, something can't bring her to get rid of the creature and so she keeps it. And, eight months later, tracks down said successful businessman and tells him that he has a son currently residing in a children's home. She then leaves both of their lives and never returns. The businessman, Nate, feels immense guilt - and grief. He doesn't tell his wife and instead decides that if they had a child of their own then everything would be alright. Two years later she dies during childbirth.

The day after, Nate visits a children's home and brings Ashley, his two year old son, and Kyle, the newborn, home. He hires a nanny and pours all of his concentration into work. Because he has always been a workaholic, and the guilt is eating him from the inside out.

The nanny knows from the start that Ash isn't quite right. He is bullied in school from an early age. More specifically, from his first day in school right up until his seventh birthday. It is then that he realises that bullies leave him alone if he doesn't act scared. It becomes his only hope; an obsession he latches onto and doesn't let go of. Hiding emotions, he decides, is the key to survival. And so he does. They are all bundled away and shoved to the back of his mind, never to emerge again. At least, not visibly.

But he also realises that it works the opposite way too, and he spends the next ten years perfecting his skills at reading people, finding out information and then controlling them. And acting. Trust, he realises, is a useful thing to acquire. After all, they won't know how stupid it is to trust him until it's too late.

Things deteriorate rapidly and he realises his lust for power when, in a moment of ill-suppressed panic, he almost strangles his brother. And he would've, if their nanny hadn't arrived at the last moment. But it was this day that he realised how good it felt to hold someone's life in your hands. How brilliant their pulsing fear felt; all because of him. And he wanted it. All. The. Time.

The nanny was his first kill and he burned her to ash in the back garden. She was the brink of sanity in his life, and after her death he could no longer suppress his urge to kill things. Anything. But mostly humans. Because he couldn't stand humans. And so he stopped only imagining to kill the people he hated and put it into practice.

This didn't last long, because Kyle (the one person he had failed to kill in all of these years - and not because he liked him, hell, he hated the kid) went to Nate and told him that he'd seen the nanny be killed. By Ash. And Ash was sent to an insane asylum. He festered within those walls for a good year before clawing his way out of there, stealing a van and returning to the family home. He then proceeded to blackmail Nate with the life of his son, Kyle - Nate would pay a good amount of money into his bank account at the end of each month or Kyle woulddie. And Nate knew that he never made empty threats, and so he conceded.

Ash took Kyle to Fritch and, despite his immense hatred for the kid, refrained from killing him because torturing him was way too much fun. And then the zombies attacked and Ash reasoned that Kyle would by no means be able to keep himself alive on his own, and so he ditched the kid and began a new life on his own. He then discovered the Nyx, the most violent of the alliances, and joined them. Sure, he preferred solitude, but he wasn't stupid. In fact, he was anything but. And there was safety in numbers. From there, he clawed his way up the ranks (or killed his way up the ranks - however you wanna put it) until he reached council member.

And now he's out to kill the other councils. Or the leader. Because he wants to be leader and nothing will stop him.
